Offset Coarse Set Up

Place a nail where the course is to begin; this is the 0’ mark. Measure from this point out 50’ and mark this point. To the right side of the 0’ mark, measure 30’ and 58’4” from the 50’ mark to make the coarse square. This is your base line. Put tape down to mark the side lines. Place nails at 2’6”, 7’6” and 22’6” to the right of the 0’ mark.

From the 7’6”on the base line measure 50’ and 7’6” to the right of the side line at the top of the coarse and put nails at the 12’6”, 25’, 37’6” and 50’ measurements. From the 22’6” mark on the base line place a tape measure out 50’ and 22’6” to the right of the left side line and place nails at the 6’3”, 18’9”, 31’3” and 43’9” marks.
